This paper elaborates on solitude as one of the common Practices in Sufism. The concept of solitude and its history have been discussed in the light of sufi source books. The paper also discusses the benefits, the Conditions, the frequency, and the place of Solitude. It ends with an evalution of Ibn Arabi’s and his followers concept of solitude.
