Abstract

The Present article discusses Shath (Ecstatic Phrase Or Paradox)
or circumlocution as a concept in Islamic Sufism. The
author has Consulted Sufism sources and dictionaries to define
the word and to classify it Kinds. Shath may relate to behavior,
to dreams, or to speech , each of which has been briefly
described in this paper.
