Abstract

Anis al-Tālebin wa ‘Oddat al-Sālekin is a book with two scripts, a detailed and a short, about states and thoughts of Khājeh Bahā al-Din Naqshband. In the detailed script, Salāh ibn Mobārak Bukhāri has been mentioned explicitly as the author, but in sources and indices this book has been ascribed to Khājeh Muhammad Pārsā and Hesām ibn Yousof Bukhāri. The ascription of this book to Hesām ibn Yousof Bukhāri is refuted completely with clear evidence and its ascription to Salāh ibn Mobārak produces some doubt due to a number of reasons, although it cannot be refuted definitely. The attribution of this book to Khājeh Muhammad Pārsā is correct due to some reasons. However, the attribution of detailed script to Salāh ibn Mubārak should be at least accepted with little doubt and the attribution of short script to Khājeh Muhammad Pārsā is undoubted. This article discusses such issue.
