Abstract
In Jewish thought, woman is considered inferior to man and is the cause of sin. Women are said to have inherited sin and deception from Eve and are sinners; they are not allowed to engage in social activities, and they attain perfection by encouraging their husbands and children to teach the Torah. In Christianity, although men and women are equal in Christ’s eyes, his disciples did not have a favorable view of women and spoke of Eve's subdominant creation and her sin. Due to the importance of taking cognizance of the status of women in religions, it was decided to analyze descriptively and comparatively the position of women in the thoughts of the two great Jewish and Christian mystics, Moses de Leon and Jacob Boehme. They have come up with ideas that need to be analyzed. De Leon attributes the disorder in the creation to the distance between God and the queen, but in the end, through repentance, austerity, and performing rituals, separation changes into harmony and causes harmony in the world; the perfection of woman leads to the perfection of man and causes the evolution of the heavenly worlds. The relationship between man and woman causes the stability of faith, and is the factor that prevents divine presence (Shekhineh) from leaving them. Boehme denies that women are inferior to men. He sees woman as a being who is made of human nature and can attain perfection to be the image of God. He believes there is a divine reaction in marriage, but it embraces some other effects that result from the earthly and evil dimensions
