Abstract
Anxiety of Influence and Misprision are two literary theories that Harold Bloom puts forward regarding poetic influence and influences. In order to get rid of the annoying apprehension of being influenced by the poetry of the past and to open up the open space of their poetic arts, poets consciously humiliate the predecessors and try to consider themselves superior to their pioneer poets by creatively misreading them. The purpose of this research is to compare the story of Ibrahim Adham in Lab Darya based on the theory of anxiety of influence and misreading of the creator in the stories of Attar and Rumi, which has been done through documentary and library methods.
The findings of the research show that the late Rūmī has retreated from the previous poet's style with some creative tricks in order to prevail over Attar's father's poetic style in an Oedipal battle. For this purpose, creations at different levels have been achieved; At the intellectual level, Rumi recreated mystical issues in a way that partially overlaps with the mentioned theory; Because, Rumi is a deep supporter of Attar and is proud to support him; Therefore, despite the creative reinterpretation and while achieving independent objectivity in some positions, by repeating Attar's intellectual-mystical stylistic features, he surrenders to his father, and in the end, Attar's father's narration is younger and different than before. It appears in the story of the Maulana , the Son. In the upcoming essay, while localizing the western theory, we will explain the intellectual-mystical development and evolution in the mentioned story.
