Abstract
Tantrism, rather than having the components of a religious system, is a mystical and ritualistic system whose main purpose is to explain the process of freedom from the cycle of reincarnation and to outline a way to bring man to the rank of "Jivan Mukti". This process is realized in a context of special beliefs and by using special techniques and exercises, that although elements of it may be found in other Indian religious traditions, but it is in Tantrism that it has taken the form of a formant practical worldview and is displayed as a perfect behavioural system. The following article aims to explain this epistemological- behavioural process in Hindu Tantrism with a descriptive-analytical method. The obtained results show that God's grace, which is the fullness and flow of Shakti or divine energy throughout existence, provides a platform that through Tantric Puja, which is applicable in both external and internal areas, the physical/psychic efforts and exercises of peripatetic at abolishing human self-awareness in cosmic self-awareness have yielded and the virtual self - Jiva - becomes mortal in the true self – Atman-. This process in the external Puja that takes place in the sacred environment of Mandala, provides the seeker with the attributes and powers of the summoned and objectified god/gods and finally leads to his/her unity with the divinity. But on another level, in inner Puja, the same event takes place in "Suksma Sarira". Here, Kundalini Shakti is released using physical/spiritual techniques and disciplines and conquers the seven Chakras along the spinal axis by moving along the Sushumna Nadi. The conquest of each Chakra brings a new spiritual experience to the seeker and pushes him forward in the behavioural stations. Arriving at the seventh Chakra - the Crown Chakra - is the state of unity of the two principles of Shiva and Shakti and the end of the process of introvertive journey, which makes the practitioner attain the rank of Jivan Mukti.
