Abstract
Mulla Mohammad Rafi Qazvini, known as Vaez, was a renowned poet and stylist of the Safavid era. His poetry collection reflects a commitment to both positive (encouraging) and negative (discouraging) methods, inviting the reader to embrace didactic-mystical thoughts. The didactic-mystical ideas in Vaez Qazvini's poetry are expressed in three ways:
Directly addressing humanity..1
Addressing the poet himself, indirectly imparting these thoughts to the audience..2
3.Addressing no specific individual, indirectly reminding the audience of these thoughts.
In this descriptive-analytical study, using library resources, most didactic-mystical thoughts are extracted and analyzed from the complete ghazals, scattered verses, and quatrains of Vaez Qazvini. The sources of didactic-mystical thoughts in Vaez Qazvini's poetry include Quranic verses, prophetic traditions, sayings of religious leaders, and the poems of previous Persian mystical poets. The study's results show that in his poems, especially the ghazals, with inspiration from the Indian style poets, didactic-mystical thoughts have a high frequency due to the horizontal connection of the ghazal verses and the use of metaphorical elements (compressed allegory and analogy style)
